Photo of the river in New Orleans from the hotel room on the 20th floor of the Marriott on Canal.  It’s a shame that I haven’t seen a cruise ship coming through the river to the port yet.  If I do, I will make sure to snap a photo of it! This is the third HDR photo that I’ve done.

Sunset in Atlanta I thought this was a half-way decent picture since it was through a window yet once again at the Marriott Marquis hotel from the 47th floor.  I thought the colors of the sky were amazing!

Tomorrow I plan on walking the streets of New Orleans with my new tripod to try and learn the fundamentals of HDR images.  We’ll see if I can do what I’ve seen friends like Keith Lancaster and Michael Franken do with such imagery.  I’m sure it’s a learned skill that takes time...
