Orlando, FL Sunset

Melissa and I had just checked in to the resort, gone to Whole Foods and purchased groceries, and then came back to the resort, and saw this beautiful sky out of the rear window of the condo. I had to capture this wondrous display of God’s beauty!

NASA/Kennedy Space Center Visit

Today Melissa, Stephanie, and I got to visit the NASA/Space Kennedy location in FL. It was great to see this massive building and actually get to see how big this building really is. I had been here once before many years ago, but I couldn’t really remember anything from my visit then. I even ended up getting the annual membership pass for unlimited visits and Special Events priority.

Durant

Photo of Durant on stage at Acafest 2010.From Left to Right – Michael Delia, Rachel Whorton, Allison Lancaster, Melissa Lancaster, Kimberly Lancaster, and Mandy Wilson.  It was a wonderful performance with amazingly great sound!

Kevin Schaffer

Kevin Schaffer was on stage singing during Acafest 2010, and he happened to notice me taking pictures, and noticed right when I panned my camera to pointing at him.  So, he decided he should make a pose.  This is the picture that I snapped with the extraordinary pose of Kevin Schaffer.

Birthday for Aunt Judy!

A group of our family met in Marietta, OH for Aunt Judy’s birthday!  We had people representing many states and lots of travel there for the dinner party at Tampico’s Mexican Restaurant there in Marietta, OH.  States represented were: NJ, NY, PA, OH, & WV.  We had a great visit there and I’m very happy that Seth and I were able to visit with all of them!

Now Seth & I head to Chicago tomorrow for the big ASCO 2010 show which is the American Society of Clinical Oncology show at the McCormick Place Convention Center.

My Third HDR Photo

Photo of the river in New Orleans from the hotel room on the 20th floor of the Marriott on Canal.  It’s a shame that I haven’t seen a cruise ship coming through the river to the port yet.  If I do, I will make sure to snap a photo of it!

This is the third HDR photo that I’ve done.

My First HDR Image

Lee Circle, New Orleans, LA

Lee Circle, New Orleans, LA

This is the first HDR photo that I have tried to create.  I think it came out pretty well.  I like the fact that I was able to take a series of photographs, put them together, and make them look a hand painted canvas.  I think that for my first HDR image this one turned out beautifully!  I used no tripod to help balance my shots which means I must not have been shaking to bad.

If I don’t say so myself, I am amazed with the way this turned out!  Feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think about the photo.  Remember that you can click on the photo and get it to display full screen as well.
